The Claude M. Potterfield Pool is a City of Hagerstown-owned outdoor swimming pool adjacent to Staley Park. The pool features a double tube slide, Slidewinder water slide, and a “splashpad” or "sprayground.”

POOL SEASON:  Open Memorial Day Weekend, May 23, 24 & 25; and May 30 & May 31 weekend.  Beginning Tuesday, June 9, open 7 days a week through August 23.  Open August 29 & 30 and Labor day weekend, September 5, 6 and 7.

HOURS:
12:30-6pm, Monday – Friday
11:30-5pm, Saturdays & Sundays

*All children under age 15 years must be accompanied by a guardian, aged 18+ while at the pool. School ID must be shown. 

*Pool closures subject to inclement weather and unforeseen circumstances.

Updated Food/Beverage Policy:

1. Coolers and outside food are allowed.  NO GLASS containers are allowed in the pool area. 
Pool staff reserves the right to search all bags and coolers. 

2. Food and beverages allowed in food vending area only. 
Patrons are expected to clean up any leftover debris from items purchased at the concession stand.

*Family is defined as one or two adults and their unmarried dependents-- natural, adopted, or foster children - who permanently reside at the address listed on the pool pass application form. Children must be aged 18 years and under or their legal dependents. Family rate applies for up to five members and an application must be completed. Season pass can only be used during public swim times.
