What to expect when we open: 
  • Pool will operate at 50% capacity (Max: 225). 
  • Must wear mask to enter. 
  • No re-entry (if you leave the pool, you must pay again to re-enter). 
  • No chairs will be available on-site. You may bring your own chairs. 
  • No coolers brought in to the pool. No eating on pool deck, by concession stand only. 
  • Season passes will not be available this year.
  • Slides will be closed. Diving board will be open. 

Aqua Zumba
Saturdays & Sundays, 9-10am

All the fun and benefits of Zumba, but in the pool! Join Chanda T. at the Potterfield Pool for a workout that burns calories while keeping your body cool in the pool! Add the element of water to your workout with this fun weekend morning fitness routine. 6 week series: $60,  $10/class.

Aqua Yoga
Tuesdays, 6:15pm

New program focuses on increased flexibility, balance, and strength, while staying cool in the pool. Enjoy all the benefits of yoga in the pool w/ Charna Moore. No previous experience required. $60/6 wks, or $10/ class. 

Aqua Bands
Mondays, 6:15pm 
- July 27- Aug. 31

New program utilizes resistance bands for a full body strengthening and toning workout. Get stronger while keeping cool in the pool this summer with instructor Charna Moore. No previous experience required. Resistance bands will be provided on site. $60/ 6 wks or $10/ class.

All children under age 15 years must be accompanied by a guardian, age 18 years +.

Under management since 2015 with American Pool., The Claude M. Potterfield Pool is a City-owned outdoor swimming pool adjacent to Staley Park

The pool features a double tube slide, The Aqua Climb, Slidewinder water slide, and a children’s “splashpad” or "sprayground.” Swimming lessons, conducted by the professional staff at Community Pool Services, Inc., are available.  

*Family is defined as 1 or 2 adults and their unmarried dependents - natural, adopted, or foster children - who permanently reside at the address set forth on the pool pass application form. Children must be 18 years of age and under or their legal dependents. The family rate applies for up to 5 members and an application must be completed. Season passes can only be used during daytime public swim times.
