City Park Fall Fest 2019

Celebrate the fusion of arts, entertainment, and history on Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 10:00 am - 4 p.m at the annual City Park Fall Fest event in Hagerstown. Partnered with Porchfest along with Bester Community of Hope we encourage everyone to come out and see what is going on!

Pick-up an event passport to be stamped at each museum location.  Enjoy free, fun family activities including hay wagon rides between the museum sites, pony rides, museum tours, art activities and recreation opportunities.  

Activities at each location:

Hager House: free tours, petting zoo, craft vendors, native dance and more!

City Park Train Hub: free tours, Tommy 202 rides, Barrel cart rides, music, inflatables and more!

Washington County Fine Arts Museum: face painting, storytelling, kids crafts (slime making, stamping, butterfly sun-catchers) and more! 

Mansion House: kid's Art Activities, artist exhibits, artist painting on the porch, delicious cider and cookies and a wonderful bake sale.

Bester/Block Party: food vendors, paddle boats, laser tag, music and more! 

Porchfest: food vendors, live music, and art exhibits.

Wing-Making Workshop - Saturday, August 25 - 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. - The Hager House - 110 Key Street

This workshop is an arts-and-crafts project where participants will make their own unique Monarch Butterfly Wings Costume! The costume "wings" made at this workshop will be for participants to take home with them to keep and enjoy!

All participants are encouraged to adorn their wings to be part of the first-ever Monarch Butterfly Parade

Meet at the Herald Mail Parking Lot (100 Summit Avenue) 

Children of all ages are invited to come dressed up in a butterfly costume or as any pollinator (bees, birds, and bugs) to parade down the Cultural Trail to the Hager House in City Park for an educational and interactive presentation by The Monarch Alliance, in partnership with the Discovery Station.
