City Park Fall Fest 2019

Celebrate the fusion of arts, entertainment, and history on Saturday, September 21, 2019 from 10:00 am - 4:00 p.m at the Annual City Park Fall Fest event in Hagerstown. Partnered with Porchfest along with Bester Community of Hope we encourage everyone to come out and see what is going on!

Pick-up an "Activity Guide" to see what is going on throughout the day.  Enjoy free, fun family activities including hay wagon rides between the museum sites, pony rides, museum tours, art activities and recreation opportunities.  

Parking available:

  • Street Parking Along Virginia Avenue
  • Digby Parking Lot Access thru Museum Drive
  • South Side Parking Lot by way of City Park Drive
  • 2 Gravel Parking Lots on Highland Way: beside Mansion House and by Tennis Court
  • Overflow Parking Available in half of Softball Field by City Park Train Hub

Transportation rotating throughout the event include two Hay Wagons and a Bus. 

Pick-up and Drop-off locations include: Train Hub, Mansion House, Hager House, and Fine Arts Museum.

*Ride the Bus between Fall Fest & Porchfest 2:00 - 4:00 PM

Monarch Butterfly Parade
Saturday, September 21
10:00 a.m. 
Meet at the Herald Mail Parking Lot (100 Summit Avenue) 

Children of all ages are invited to come dressed up in a butterfly costume or as any pollinator (bees, birds, and bugs) to parade down the Cultural Trail to the Hager House in City Park for an educational and interactive presentation by The Monarch Alliance, in partnership with the Discovery Station.
