Parking Division

Responsibilities & Services

The Parking Division of the Department of Public Works oversees the City of Hagerstown’s two public parking garages, seven public parking lots, metered on-street parking, and five city-owned neighborhood parking lots. This includes all maintenance, upkeep, revenue collection, and enforcement for the entire Parking System. We maintain 600-plus spaces in our garages, 700-plus spaces in our public lots, hundreds of on-street metered spaces in our downtown, and many smaller, neighborhood lots throughout the city.

No matter what brings you to downtown Hagerstown, the staff of the Parking Division is committed to providing you with convenient parking options, whether it is in one of our well-lit parking garages, a public parking lot, or a space on the street. We hope you enjoy your visit to our Downtown!
