Internal Affairs

The Professional Standards Division is responsible for the internal affairs function of the Hagerstown Department of Police. This division’s responsibilities include: 

• Internal Affairs Investigations
• Departmental Inspections and Audits
• The Departmental Intern Program
• The Departmental Ride-Along Program
• The administration of special overtime assignments
• The retrieval of video data from Departmental video systems
• Various projects and/or duties assigned by the Chief of Police
