Salary

Effective 07/07/25, the entry level salary will $61,796.80.  Top Base Pay after 14 years of service will be $98,987.20.  A longevity step after 20 years of service is $104,936.00 and at Step 25 is $111,217.60.  Click the link below to see the full salary schedule July 7, 2025 through June 30, 2026.  Contract Term of 3 years (July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2028)

Laterals - Up to $40,000 Hiring Bonus

Lateral transfers of Police Officers from other police organizations who are certified by the State of Maryland or from other states that are recognized by the Maryland Training Commission as having a comparable entrance level academy may be given credit for years of service performed as a certified police officer based on actual police experience and environment.
