This program inspects hotels were required to apply for a license. The City Housing & Community Development staff , Engineering & Permits staff, and Fire Department staff inspect the properties for compliance with minimum standards of the Building, Property Maintenance, and Fire Codes. Depending upon the results of the inspections, hotels are classified as Tier 1 or Tier 2 hotel.
