On Sunday, March 29th, the Hub City Half Marathon will be held on streets in the City of Hagerstown and Washington County. The race will begin at Meritus Park, and will proceed south via Maryland Avenue to Marty Snook Park; the return leg will include a loop around City Park, and will end back at Meritus Park (see attached map).
A temporary street closure will be implemented on W. Baltimore Street between Summit Avenue and Potomac Street at the beginning of the race, and Antietam Street will be closed to traffic between Walnut Street and Rochester Place, The street closures will be implemented at 7:30 AM, and it is expected that the race will end by 11:00 AM. Motorists should be alert to runners along the race route.
Emergency vehicles will be able to pass through Antietam Street while the closure is in place.
