Electric Terminations Resume on April 1

As a courtesy, the City of Hagerstown is notifying electric customers that service terminations on delinquent accounts will begin on Wednesday, April 1.

 

24-hour notices will start being delivered next week to residential customers with large account balances. 

 

The City is committed to working with all customers who are interested in setting up payment arrangements to avoid service interruptions.  Please email customerservice@hagerstownmd.org, call 301-790-4160, or visit Customer Service in-person today. 

 

Additionally, customers seeking assistance with paying their bill should contact the Washington County Community Action Council, 117 Summit Avenue in Hagerstown, at 301-797-4161. 

 

And as a reminder to all customers seeking to pay City electric, water, sewer, trash, and personal or real estate tax bills by card or EFT check at their convenience, the payment kiosk located outside Customer Service at 32 N. Potomac Street is accessible 24 hours a day.
