No, recyclable materials must be placed in one of the City-issued blue recycling carts or totes. If you need a recycling cart, please contact the Hagerstown Recycles hotline at (301) 739-8577 ext. 106 or email recycle@hagerstownmd.org

Yes, as long as the boxes are broken down to a size no larger than 3' x 3'. It is preferable to use twine to bundle them, but they may also be stacked against or underneath the recycling tote/bin to keep them from blowing away.
