Main Street Hagerstown is soliciting grant applications from for-profit and non-profit businesses in the Main Street District (see below for downloadable application) until November 25 at 12 p.m. The grants will be used by businesses in the Main Street District to increase foot traffic, community engagement, economic development, and of course holiday cheer.
This grant will also be used to support local events such as the Downtown City Center Tree Lighting on November 23rd, 2020 and an ongoing Holiday Lights Driving/Walking Tour from November 25 to December 31, 2020.
Steps to Apply:
-Fill out the appropriate application and vendor forms for the grant. (Application form found here)
-Submit the application before 12 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2020.
-If your application is approved, you will receive an email detailing that you are to purchase the product or services mentioned in your application and with a good faith effort have them installed by Sunday, December 6.
-Submit the receipts/invoices and updated itemized form with actual prices detailed before December 21, 2020. in order to receive the grant funds. Date of each receipt must show the expense occurred after application approval.
-The City will then disburse the approved amount when the receipts and invoices are approved.
