Hagerstown named among the top cities for paramedics and EMTs in America

More national prestige for the Hub City

The City of Hagerstown is honored to announce it has been named one of the top cities for paramedics and EMTs in the nation according to SecurityChoice.com.

A total of 645 U.S. cities were evaluated on several metrics including salary figures, FBI City Crime Data, cost of living, EMS job location quotient, and projected job location quotient, and projected job growth. The metrics were weighted based on the level of importance they were assigned by current paramedics and EMTs.

Hagerstown ranked 71st, as just one of two Maryland cities to make the list. The full report and ranking information is available at  https://www.securitychoice.com/top-cities-for-paramedics-and-emt.

“With the high level of stress associated with the profession, it’s important to choose a location where the best quality of life is possible, both on and off the clock”, the release stated.

Today’s announcement follows Expedia’s from June 13 that proclaimed Hagerstown one of the most beautiful towns in America.
