Our mission is to deliver recreation programs that are attractive, accessible and provide memorable experiences. We aim to serve people of all ages to create a desirable community to live, work, and play. We measure our success by customer satisfaction, efficiency, and development of recreation services that meet the values and needs of our residents and visitors. One-Day Activities

Square Dance Nights
Fun, fitness, and friendship- that's what our square dance nights are all about! An easy-to-follow low-impact exercise opportunity, introduction to square dance with fun themes each month to keep you coming back for more! Recommended for ages 7 years and up. $6/person online, or $7 at the door.

Aikido for Teens & Adults
Thursdays, 7pm-8pm

Japanese form of self-defense and martial arts. Aikido means "the way of the harmonious spirit." Ages 13 years and up. Led by Vernon Medieros. $35/6-week series, or drop-in $10/class.

Tai Chi for Balance and Movement

Relieve tension and reconnect energy flow between mind & body with this low-impact exercise hour introducing principles and postures of Tai Chi. Led by Vernon Medieros. $35 once weekly, $45 twice weekly.

Turbo Kick

Kick-down limits and kick-up your workout routine with this fun fusion of cardio and kick-boxing moves. $17/4-weeks; $5/class.

Get a total-body workout as you power through an hour of guided moves using max interval training fitness method. Led by Deanna Schleigh, $25/6-week series, or $5/class.


This one-hour class is a combination of Pilates Yoga to engage muscles, burn fat, and tone the physique. Led by Deanna Schleigh, $17/4-week series, or $5/class.

Activity fees due upon registration. Any check returned by the bank for whatever reason will be assessed a collection fee of $37.50. All park patrons are asked to comply with the Park Rules and Regulations

Refund Policy: Activities/Program Registrations

All activities are rain or shine; the City does not issue refunds due to inclement weather.
If the activity/event is canceled by the City due to low registration numbers, the City will refund 100% of the fees to those who registered.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations by the registrant. In extreme cases of illness, or emergency, the Recreation Coordinator may consider a credit to the registrant for future City recreation events or facility reservations. Such requests for credit must be done in writing and submitted to the Parks and Recreation office.
