Our mission is to deliver recreation programs that are attractive, accessible and provide memorable experiences. We aim to serve people of all ages to create a desirable community to live, work, and play. We measure our success by customer satisfaction, efficiency, and development of recreation services that meet the values and needs of our residents and visitors. To register for an activity/program in person, our office is located at 351 North Cleveland Avenue in Fairgrounds Park. Your fee is due in full when you register.

A collection fee of $37.50 will be assessed for any check returned by the bank for whatever reason.

All park patrons are asked to comply with the Park Rules and Regulations

Refund Policy: Activities/Program Registrations

All activities are rain or shine; the City does not issue refunds due to inclement weather.

If the activity/event is canceled by the City due to low registration numbers, the City will refund 100% of the fees to those who registered.

No refunds will be issued for cancelations by the registrant. In extreme cases of illness, or emergency, the Recreation Coordinator may consider a credit to the registrant for future City recreation events or facility reservations. Such requests for credit must be done in writing and submitted to the Parks and Recreation office.
