Our mission is to deliver recreation programs that are attractive, accessible and provide memorable experiences. We aim to serve people of all ages to create a desirable community to live, work, and play. We measure our success by customer satisfaction, efficiency, and development of recreation services that meet the values and needs of our residents and visitors. Lose the Stress, Lose the Weight
Mondays, 7pm-8pm
November 6, 13, 20, 27, December 4 & 11 (Activity #5866) 
 Stress could likely be the roadblock between you and your weight loss goals. Learn to make stress work for you in order to control cravings, regain energy, and sleep soundly so that you can look and feel amazing. Led by Cheryle McKee. $80/6-week series.

Square Dance Nights
Provided in partnership with Gad-Abouts Square Dance Club, with caller, Dan Grimes. 
Fun, fitness, and friendship- that's what our square dance nights are all about! An easy-to-follow low-impact exercise opportunity, introduction to square dance with fun themes each month to keep you coming back for more! Recommended for ages 7 years and up. $6/person online, or $7 at the door. 

Breast Cancer Awareness ZUMBATHON
Sunday, October 15, 1pm-3pm
Dance for the cause! Wear pink and join instructor, Chanda T., for a two-hour Zumbathon. Healthy snacks will be provided. Proceeds donated to Cumberland Valley Breast Cancer Awareness. Ages 13 & up. $10/person at the door. 

Fun, Fit Fridays in February

Insanity

Aikido for Teens & Adults

To register for an activity/program in person, our office is located at 351 North Cleveland Avenue in Fairgrounds Park.

Activity fees due upon registration. Any check returned by the bank for whatever reason will be assessed a collection fee of $37.50. All park patrons are asked to comply with the Park Rules and Regulations

Refund Policy: Activities/Program Registrations


All activities are rain or shine; the City does not issue refunds due to inclement weather.
If the activity/event is canceled by the City due to low registration numbers, the City will refund 100% of the fees to those who registered.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations by the registrant. In extreme cases of illness, or emergency, the Recreation Coordinator may consider a credit to the registrant for future City recreation events or facility reservations. Such requests for credit must be done in writing and submitted to the Parks and Recreation office.
